A new version of DMask (v1.5.8) is now available. The biggest change is DMask Browser, our own browser built into DMask. It's now the default browser for new profiles.

Why DMask Browser is better

Until now, DMask protected you by adjusting your fingerprint from outside the browser, through Brave. DMask Browser does the protection inside the browser itself, and that means:

- Harder to detect. Your device details (processor, graphics card, memory, language, timezone) come straight from the browser instead of being altered on top of it, which leaves far fewer signs that a site's security checks can pick up.
- The same "device" every time. Each profile keeps exactly the same identity on every launch and on every PC you use it on, just like a real, consistent computer.
- Nothing Brave-specific. Sites see a normal Chrome browser, with no Brave traces.
- Fewer broken sites. Videos, logins and checkouts work more smoothly, because nothing is changed inside the pages you visit.

For social media users: each account sits on its own stable, consistent device. That means fewer surprise "unusual login" checks, and your accounts stay separate from each other.

For Fiverr freelancers: your Fiverr account always sees the same device and the same connection. That consistency matters for account health and helps you avoid unnecessary verification checks and interruptions.

Your existing Brave profiles keep working exactly as before. Nothing changes for them unless you choose to move them.

How to move an account to DMask Browser

1. Update to DMask v1.5.8 and open Quick Mask. DMask Browser is already selected. The first time, DMask downloads it once (about 180 MB).
2. Launch and save a new profile for the account. Use the same proxy that account already uses in its Brave profile, so the account keeps seeing the same location.
3. Log in to your social media or Fiverr account in the new DMask Browser profile. The site may ask you to confirm the login with a code, because it sees a new browser. This is normal, and it happens only once.
4. Once everything works, use only the new profile for that account. Don't run the old Brave profile and the new one for the same account at the same time.

Move one account at a time, and only move each account once.
